The Supply Chain Manager for the Perma Pure Group will be a valued contributor to the Groups Operations Leadership Team. This important role will lead a cross-site team of supply chain and work directly with production teams, cross-functionally to support sales and finance.Essential Job Functions:Purchasing Planning Lead all aspects of all Supply Chain with responsibility to day-to-day purchasing, cost management, scheduling and supplier management.Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for supply and materials management.In collaboration with the Director of Operations, coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and logistics.Ensures inventory control and accuracy is managed and maintained within the business financial guidelines and best practices.Responsible supplier OTD, supplier quality and material flow, including expediting, pushout or cancelling purchase orders.Collaborates with Product Management and Engineering on customer requests and New Product Development.ManagementA key contributor to the Production Management team, attends, supports and contributes the team's daily, weekly monthly meetings and KPIs goals.Responsible for contributions and together with the S&IOP Manager, deliver the monthly material flow to maximize the production plan to achieve maximum revenue capture and safety stock fulfillment.Ensure material availability for planned production orders are met using MRP tools.Works closely other disciplines to ensure that manufacturing bill of materials, demand, and schedule are appropriately loaded in the MRP system to facilitate the organization's success.Advises Production management team of the status of purchase order deliveries, material availability to ensure production management is capable of output goals.Provides the leadership skills to influence, empower, and advise the staff to build effective department and foster cooperation between the various functional counterpartsQualifications:Bachelors Degree preferred.Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a Supply Chain/Purchasing Management.Ability to learn and understand technical details and act as a subject matter expert for business processes related to order entry, order management, customer and sales reporting.Experience managing ERP, and other technical systems cross-functionally.Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to present to internal and external stakeholdersStrong analytical skills and comfort with learning new technologies, systems, and applications.Strong and proven problem-solving skillsComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)Ability to train and mentor other department members.Competencies:Integrity & HonestyNegotiatorPlanning & OrganizationExcellent CommunicatorAnalytical problem solvingTeam PlayerTakes Initiative/ProactiveStrong ERP UtilizationCustomer Focused
