This position is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and retention, training and career paths, payroll, benefits, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.The HR Manager will maintain all employee records, administer benefits and manage all HR systems.In order to contribute to RCS' award-winning sales and customer service, all employees live by RCS' Core Values:â— Do the right thingâ— Be fun to work withâ— Take ownershipKey Duties and Responsibilities:Recruiting, onboarding, and retention of RCS staff. Work with hiring managers to determine appropriate means of recruiting for open positions. Work with 3rd party recruiters as appropriate. Create detailed hiring plans on a yearly basis, and in concert with the overall RCS budget.Ensure onboarding plans are used to communicate expectations for new employees or positions. Develop strategy and take actions as needed to promote and strengthen staff retention. Perform compensation analysis or benchmarking and wage revisions annually.Ensure performance evaluations, quarterly check-ins, and performance improvement plans are completed successfully. Create, maintain, and communicate RCS Career Paths and Training Initiatives. Training programs will invest in RCS staff to improve staff's ability to contribute to RCS customers and community.Manage and monitor Employee Benefits and wellness initiatives, including yearly Open Enrollment. Present benefit options with recommendations on a yearly basis to Leadership. Bring Open Enrollment to a successful conclusion. Stay abreast of employee benefit trends to advise Leadership on how RCS compares to other employers and how RCS can remain a competitive, relevant employer, especially in the Upper Valley.Ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely.Maintain human resource data and records. Review and update job descriptions as appropriate. Prepare HR reports as needed. Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations including filing of annual reports as well as insurance audit participation. Perform audit and compliance functions as needed, such as state and federal organizations, benefit providers, and regulatory agencies.Keep all policies and documents up to date, including employee handbook.Manage or assist with the facilitation of events throughout the year such as benefit enrollment sessions, awards ceremonies, job fairs, company surveys, training programs, celebrations, and other events that promote RCS' culture or wellness.Establish and nurture working relationships with staff on and off site and help to foster a sense of community in a hybrid/remote environment.Communicate professionally with RCS Staff, customers, vendors, RCS advisors, and all others to promote RCS' success.Establish individual and team goals and KPIs with manager that support and align with RCS core values, company goals, and strategic direction. Work to achieve goals and KPIs while maintaining an appropriate balance of focus and attention in all aspects of the role. Routinely review with manager to ensure targets are attainable and on track.Adhere to all policies, procedures and standards governing RCS and the Finance department.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; pursue professional improvement by staying up-to-date with professional publications utilizing at work opportunities and on personal time.Maintain a safe and secure work environment.Arrive to work and meetings on time and prepared.Additional duties as assigned.Required Skills and Abilities: Exceptional internal and external Customer Service skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and phone presence.Strong Managerial, Mentoring and Coaching Skills.High degree of integrity and work ethic. Eager and willing to learn.Education and Experience:This position requires an HR Management or Business degree and at least 5 years of demonstrated progressive responsibility. SHRM certification is preferred.This position requires an in-depth knowledge of the business processes and structure.Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google and database programs is required. Knowledge of ConnectWise Manage a plus.Working Conditions:Located and able to work in the US from an RCS-based office space in NH or hybrid/remote.Primarily in an office environment, talking on the phone 10% of the day and working on a computer 90% of the day.Will be expected to travel as needed on company business.
