With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a positive impact for generations to come.Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Streamwood, IL on a full-time basis for the school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.Position 1: Full-time position teaching adolescent grades committed to a 40 hours a week from 7:30am-4pm or 8am-4:30pm daily, Mon.-Fri. Position 2: Full-time position committed to a 40 hours a week from 7:30am-4pm or 8am-4:30pm daily, Mon.-Fri. Ideal candidate is flexible as they will be the primary back-up to cover classes if a teacher is absent. They will also be supporting all the teachers with student centered administrative tasks.We offer a very generous package of paid time off including vacation time, sick time, federal holidays, and paid school breaks.
