Who are we? Code Ninjas is the nation's fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 5-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way - by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can't wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving as they progress from white to black belt. We are looking for a Code Sensei to join our team, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our senseis are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center. This individual oversees the day-to-day coaching and student engagement. Are you experienced in working with children? Are you looking for a job in the coding industry? This could be the role for you.Responsibilities include:Work with children to build and play their own gamesCreate a positive and safe environment in which students can growCoach and mentor kids in coding and STEM curriculum, including JavaScript, C#, Unity, block-based languages, Minecraft, and more.Complete training courses for our proprietary curriculumProvide feedback to parents on student progressPerform extra duties as needed, including organizing and maintaining center equipment and facilitiesReport as needed to Center Director or lead instructor with respect to day's activities, efficiency & productivity in classroomQualifications Leadership skills: demonstrated ability to supervise, organize, or lead within work groupsLooking for individuals who seek ways to contribute rather than waiting to be toldCoding and technology skills: knowledgeable about, or willingness to learn, introductory concepts in JavaScript, C#, and Unity.
