The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of financial leadership, strategic planning, and management in a non-profit setting. This individual will play a crucial role in shaping and guiding the financial future of our organization, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.Responsibilities1. Financial Leadership: As the CFO, you will be responsible for the organization's overall financial strategy, ensuring the development and execution of effective financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. 2. Strategic Planning: You will work closely with the CEO and the Board of Directors to develop and implement a strategic plan that aligns with the organization's mission and goals. 3. Management: You will oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. You will also be responsible for managing and mentoring a dedicated team of finance professionals.4. Business Strategy: You will leverage your expertise in financial analysis to guide business strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.5. Board and Committee Meetings: You will be required to attend and participate in meetings of the Board of Directors and its various committees as requested, providing financial insights and updates.6. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within a non-profit organization.2. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.3. Extensive knowledge and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, strategic planning, management, and accounting.4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team.5. Exceptional strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive business strategy and growth.6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to a variety of stakeholders, including the Board of Directors.7. A deep understanding of non-profit financial regulations and standards, including experience coordinating audits and tax filings.8.
