This role requires a technical guru who can keep our production and manufacturing equipment in top-notch condition. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your hands-on skills in a vibrant and challenging environment. Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.2. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment.3. Inspect and test machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.4. Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications.5. Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.6. Record repairs and maintenance performed.7. Facilitate efficient operations by providing mechanical and electrical support.8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.9. Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize production processes.10. Implement and improve new and existing manufacturing methods and procedures.Qualifications:1. High school diploma or equivalent2. Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing setting.3. Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.4. Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.5. Ability to keep track of and report on activity.6. Experience in planning maintenance operations.7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.8. Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components.9. Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers).10. A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines.11.
