The Tax Manager will play a crucial role in providing high-quality tax services to our clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and offering strategic tax planning advice. Medical, Dental, Vision Unlimited PTO + Holiday pay Flexible schedule Safe Harbor 401k, Cell Phone reimbursement, free parking, etc. Salary range is within $120-145k with bonus opportunities averaging $6-$10k annuallyJob DetailsTax Compliance:Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.Ensure accuracy and completeness of tax filings in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to stay updated on changes that may impact clients.Tax Planning and Consulting:Assist clients in developing tax-efficient strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial outcomes.Provide proactive tax planning advice tailored to the unique needs and objectives of clients.Identify opportunities for tax savings and recommend appropriate tax strategies.Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and personalized tax solutions.Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.Collaborate with other team members to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs.Team Leadership and Development:Mentor and supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.Foster a collaborative and positive work environment conducive to learning and growth.Assist in the recruitment and training of new team members as needed.Compliance and Quality Control:Ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures, and professional standards.Conduct quality reviews of tax workpapers and documentation to maintain accuracy and consistency.Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.5+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax services.Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSystem FX Tax, CCH Axcess Tax) and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Commitment to providing exceptional client service and building long-term relationships.Interested in hearing more?
