CornerStone Staffing is actively recruiting for a Collections Specialist to join a premier auto finance company in North Fort Worth on a long-term assignment. This role is a fantastic opportunity to "get your foot in the door" at a respected company known for its competitive perks and benefits.Job Title: Late Stage Collections Specialist (Long Term Temp Assignment)Location: Fort Worth, TXPay: $18.00 - $20.00/ BOESchedule: Monday through Friday – 10a-7p - Training 8am-5pmNote: Must be flexible to be in office additional days when requiredTraining Schedule: 8a-5p with onsite nesting until production expectations are metResponsibilities:Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers and insurance companies to resolve insurance claims.Review evaluation reports from the insurance company to ensure settlement amounts align with the MSRP.Work with customers and their insurance providers to secure vehicle payoffs, negotiating payment amounts when necessary.Explain to customers any balances not covered by their Insurance Company or GAP provider.Process customer, attorney, and trustee requests related to bankruptcy by:Managing phone calls regarding new bankruptcy filings, processing voluntary payments, and resolving account issues.Responding to emails, executing internal system tasks, reviewing cases from the attorney network or vendor, and fulfilling internal department requests.Properly coding accounts with the appropriate bankruptcy status in a timely manner.Manage a queue of assigned accounts.Review and process Impound/Seized accounts to ensure collateral is secured and protected.Work with active military customers to verify eligibility, provide instructions for vehicle returns if needed, and correctly code their accounts.Assist family members or estates in verifying and processing options for deceased customers" accounts.Maintain corporate standards and ensure compliance with all requirements.Requirements:1-2 years" experience in a late-stage collections environment.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.High attention to detail.H.S. diploma or GED required; Bachelor"s Degree is preferred.Previous experience with insurance claims and/or bankruptcy is a plus.To Apply for this Job:Click the Apply Online button at the top of this page, then:If you are currently registered with CornerStone Staffing, click the I have a username and password and want to log in button to add yourself as a candidate to this job.If your are NOT currently registered with CornerStone Staffing, click the I need to register button to complete the application and select the office location closest to you.#CB#ZIPo3-mini-high
