Position SummaryNelson's Green Brier Distillery in Nashville, TN is seeking a committed Server to provide a 5-star guest experience that is consistent with our high standards and values for customer service. The ideal candidate will deliver a welcoming, fun, and distinctive guest experience to every patron in our facility. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule and a "can do" attitude. ResponsibilitiesAlways maintains an uncompromised professionalism and composure in all situations. Shares a passion for product and provides epic guest experiences with effortless suggestions and honest salesmanship. Converts guests into "Nelson's Green Brier Ambassadors" through detailed knowledge of NGB whiskeys, cocktails, food and their availability. Educates guests in an honest way about the history of our distillery, our whiskey, and our food. Ensures guest expectations are being met by executing proper sequence of service, moving with purpose, confidence, and speed at all times. Maintains the details of table and restaurant cleanliness in all areas of the building, throughout all hours. Completes set-up, side work and closing tasks as assigned and/or directed in a timely manner.Works closely with Lead Server to ensure all tasks are being completed thoroughly, correctly, and efficiently during the shift.Values the importance of internal hospitality and the necessary team environment this promotes.Minimum QualificationsOne year of experience in a restaurant environment, preferably in a host position.Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (must have flexible schedule)Effective communication skills and ability to maintain composure in a high stress environment.Commitment to deliver an outstanding customer experiencePreferred QualificationsGeneral knowledge and enthusiasm for craft distilling and spiritsPhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentWorks outdoors/indoorsWorks in warm/cold climatesWorks in high placesWorks on wet surfacesIs exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicalsWorks near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck trafficMust be able to move up to 55lbs ASPIRA, Fine Wines & Craft Spirits is a division of Constellation Brands.
