Founded by a service academy graduate who has offshore experience, Core Group Resources' expertise is unmatched in the marine offshore market, finance, IT, renewables, & non-profit for executive search, staffing, and expertise identification.3rd Assistant Engineer Job Summary The 3rd Assistant Engineer will report to the Chief Engineer and will be responsible for operating and maintaining the engine room and other mechanical systems and equipment onboard the vessel. 3rd Assistant Engineer Responsibilities Make hourly or other rounds as instructed of all machinery spaces and equipment Start / stop auxiliary machinery as directed by the duty engineer Assist with lining up valves and lines for engine room systems Perform minor repairs/maintenance Keep engine room and other machinery spaces clean and oil free Maintain and operate main engines - change oil and air filters, maintain proper fluids, coolants and oils; and maintain engine room logs Check gauges, fluid levels, lubricants and report any problems to the duty engineer Ensure the fuel and oil transfers from work boats are performed safely using procedures and guidelines set forth by the company Participate fully in all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and safety programs and in pre-tour weekly safety meetings 3rd Assistant Engineer Position Requirements Previous Offshore Experience USCG Medical USCG MMC TWIC Card or TWIC Renewal Receipt Preferred ROS status Valid passport Visa Sponsorship Not Available 3rd Assistant Engineer Preferred Requirements T-HUET / BOSIET / FOET Marshall Island License
