Employment Type: Temporary Estimated Duration (In months): 13 Min Hourly Rate ($): 30.00 Max Hourly Rate ($): 32.00 Must Have Skills/Attributes: Contract Management, Contract Negotiations, Contracts, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Paralegal, RFP Job Description Only qualified Senior Contract Manager candidates located near the Dallas, TX area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence Skills & Abilities: • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. • Strong legal background. • Expertise in negotiating contracts for goods and services. • Experience in handling RFPs, pricing, contract modifications, and vendor terms. • Experience in collaborating with Legal and Business Units for compliance. • Experience in implementing sourcing strategies. • Proficiency in administering contracts per company and customer policies. • Strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions. • Ability to manage renewals, revisions, and new agreements. Education: • Preferred bachelor"s degree (JD strongly desired). Preferred Skills & Experience: • Paralegal certification. Role: Manage contract negotiations and administer contracts, systems, procedures, and methods. Execute standard contract templates with terms and conditions, engaging in moderately complex negotiations. This role requires a strong project management approach and the ability to be a self-starter who is willing to dig in and research without waiting for instruction. The ideal candidate must be proactive rather than reactive, capable of resolving problems quickly, and must take initiative to address and solve issues. Key Roles and Responsibilities: • Negotiate contracts for internal clients for purchases of goods and services. • Implement assigned sourcing strategies in procurement events. • Interpret terms and conditions of contractual obligations. • Handle contract modifications, RFPs, pricing, revisions, and vendor terms. • Address contract issues and negotiate agreements including renewals and new business. • Drive negotiations, leveraging key points to meet objectives. • Administer contracts in line with company and customer policies. • Interpret and analyze contract documents, coordinating with Legal and Business Units. • Prepare and execute statements of work. • Resolve sourcing issues, applying industry knowledge to evaluate new technologies.
