Job Title: Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting Location: Hunt Valley, MD Reports To: Senior Manager of Financial Reporting Join a Top-Rated Workplace with Exceptional Benefits and Growth Opportunities! Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and compilation of consolidated financial reports (10-K, 10-Q, etc.) Collaborate in the consolidation-related controls and reconciliations process Support the XBRL/HTML review process for 10-K and 10-Q filings Prepare tie-outs for financial reports (10-K and 10-Q) Assist in the filing of certain Press Releases with the SEC Help prepare GAAP disclosure checklists Conduct technical accounting research as needed Assist the team with ad-hoc projects and other accounting tasks Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field CPA certification preferred A minimum of 2.5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting or with a large publicly traded company Experience working in audit with a Big 4 firm or large public accounting firm with publicly traded clients Experience in preparing or reviewing financial statements Exceptional attention to detail and ability to execute tasks thoroughly Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general ledger applications In-depth knowledge of SOX, COSO standards, and risk assessment practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills Compensation & Benefits: Salary: $90-115K base (depending on experience) + 25% bonus potential Equity: ~50k equity offering at the beginning of each year Benefits: Company pays 85% premiums for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and more 100% supplemental coverage offered 401(k) with a 100% match on the first 7% invested Stock purchase plans 20 days PTO + holidays Daily lunch reimbursements!
