Accounting ManagerOur client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to manage their financial operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions, reporting, and compliance. Hybrid flexibility available after initial training period. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Management: Process bi-weekly payrolls, including special payrolls for commissions, new hires, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement. Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable: Manage all AP/AR transactions with precision and efficiency. Financial Compliance: Maintain and enforce accounting policies to ensure adherence to regulations and accuracy. Record Keeping: Establish and maintain comprehensive fiscal files and records to document all accounting transactions. Financials: Ensure accuracy of the general ledger, cash forecasting, capital asset reconciliations, fixed asset activity, debt activity, account statement reconciliations, and budgeting processes. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate and insightful financial reports and statements. Month and Year-End Closing: Execute the month and year-end closing processes for leadership reporting and tax compliance. New Hire Onboarding: Manage new hire paperwork and onboarding processes for state and federal compliance. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support the financial operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Demonstrated ability to develop financial statements, budgets, track budget expenses, and perform credit card reconciliations. Experience with cost accounting and inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of bookkeeping and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
