Senior Accountant Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in accounts payable, account reconciliation, budgeting, and forecasting. The successful candidate will oversee key accounting functions, support financial planning, and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the full accounts payable process, including invoice verification, approval, and timely payment execution. Reconcile accounts payable transactions, vendor statements, and general ledger accounts. Maintain professional vendor relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving payment issues. Monitor accounts payable aging and cash flow projections to inform financial decisions. Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, ensuring data accuracy and effective trend analysis. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations. Prepare management reports in compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Provide operational and technical support on accounting and financial matters. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to internal controls and policies. Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in the finance department. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, financial reconciliation, and analysis. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP compliance, and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills required). Experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis tools preferred. High attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
