Overview of the AP/AR Specialist Role:As an AP/AR Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing key financial processes that ensure the smooth operation of our accounts payable and receivable functions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner for payment, ensuring all records are up-to-date and complete. Manage the approval, coding, and documentation of all payments in accordance with company procedures. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in vendor invoices or accounts receivable, ensuring that all issues are handled efficiently and professionally. Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments are made, and follow up on overdue accounts to prevent delays in cash flow. Prepare and deposit daily cash receipts as part of your role as an AP/AR Specialist, ensuring all financial records are accurate and current. Qualifications for the AP/AR Specialist: Proven experience in an AP/AR Specialist or similar accounting role, with a solid understanding of both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, with the ability to accurately handle financial transactions. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that all payments and receipts are processed efficiently.
