Network / System Engineer V IL

Job Summary:Dexian is seeking a Network/Systems Engineer V for an opportunity with a client located in Chicago, IL.Responsibilities:Liaison with Security, Operations, Product, Engineering, Architecture and Vendors to manage product lifecycle, fixes, features and enhancementsWorkbook management through Product JIRAsDevelopment of low level designs to meet bank requirements and security demandsDeployment of low level environmentsDevelopment of documentation and Hosting of training sessions to support the transition of new services into operationsAdvanced product testingContinual ownership for the accuracy and completeness of all technical documentationActive participation in review of requirements for technical feasibilityRepresent technical requirements for the deployment of new servicesParticipate in regular requirements meetings to groom backlog and agree feature releasesEnsure all non-Strategic Social and Chat products are decommissioned from the EnterpriseRequirements:Enterprise Level Engineering (preferably within financial institutions) [Must Have]Persistent Chat applications such as Mattermost / Rocket Chat hosted on Linux [Must Have]Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) [Could have]MySQL DBA/Development Experience [Could have]Exceptional documentation and problem solving skillsTenacity and curiosity are key when developing new productsExtensive experience in cloud enabled Instant Messaging platforms (e.g. Symphony, Teams, Slack)Experience with the deployment of applications to Mobility frameworks incl.
