Our company is diverse and has a solid management base, product/market niches and efficient manufacturing capabilities The Position Plans and establishes production schedule, inventories, tracks progress of production, and assists with reviewing the factors which affect production schedules and inventory. Salary Range: $31.25/hour to $40.86/hour ($65,000 to $85,000 annually) Job Description Primary Responsibilities Draws up master schedule for each assigned unit to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders, and submits the schedule Supply Chain Manager. Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times. Conducts both short and long term planning to optimize sales and manufacturing plans. Anticipates and recognizes changes in season sales and manufacturing efforts to meet customer demand. Provides data to the Materials/ Production Scheduling to prepares production reports and provide productivity analysis as required. Ensure all customer orders are scheduled, produced, and completed per the schedule. Reports issues to Supply Chain Manager Review all open and closed production orders and close production for month end Review D365 in/out reports to verify that processes are being followed and advise on corrections as needed Runs and processes all production cards and tags. Provide lead times within 4 hours of receiving lead time requests Make scheduling adjustments as needed to ensure that orders stay on schedule Close production orders once orders are verified as completed Manage lead time requests from Scheduling, Sales, and Customer Service Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Prepares production reports, runs and processes all production cards and tags. Provide accurate physical inventories and performs inventory cycle counts as required. Provide productivity analysis as required. Manages consigned inventory Performs other duties as assigned Job Requirements Requires Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business Administration, Math, Supply Chain or other business-related degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be 18 years or older due to work environment and labor laws Must be able to pass preemployment background, drug/alcohol, and physical screenings Must be able to read and understand production schedule and production cards Ability to think strategically and problem solve Must be able to think independently and make informed decisions with little or no guidance from manager/management. Must be able to use bar code reader Excellent time management, project coordination and organizational skills Ensure all lead time requests are being processed in a timely fashion and communicated with sales and customer service, and that there are no gaps or lapses in the production schedules Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and manpower requirements, and provides productivity analysis as required Collaborates with supervisors and other managers to determine forecasting, scheduling, supply needs, purchasing of supplies and materials Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Intermediate skill in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) Be able to preform all essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
