This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with expertise in payroll accounting, forensic accounting, and nonprofit financial management. The Payroll Accounting Consultant will focus on payroll accounting, revenue recognition, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience working with W-2 corrections, payroll tax filings, and nonprofit accounting. Additionally, this role will require proficiency in QuickBooks and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Accounting Consultant Conduct forensic accounting reviews to ensure accurate financial records. Match invoices to payments, ensuring all revenue is properly recognized. Process and correct W-2s, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. File payroll taxes and ensure adherence to federal and state tax requirements. Manage financial records for a nonprofit entity, ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards. Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking and reconciliation. Qualifications & Requirements: Experience in payroll accounting, forensic accounting, and nonprofit financial management are a plus! Proficiency in QuickBooks and payroll processing software.
