About the Company and Senior Accountant Opportunity Our client, a leading global technology enterprise, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their dynamic and growing team. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience working with ERP systems. Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant The Senior Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, revenue recognition, fixed assets, journal entries, daily transactions, and banking. As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, aging schedules, financial statement analysis, and account analysis. Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement closings process as a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will also prepare documentation and provide support during external audits as needed. Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience. CPA and audit experience are strongly preferred for the Senior Accountant role. Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
