Business Continuity Specialist DE

Job Summary:Dexian is seeking a Business Continuity Specialist for an opportunity with a client located in Newark, DE.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive business continuity planConduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilitiesDesign and execute disaster recovery and business resumption strategiesConduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of the business continuity planCollaborate with key stakeholders to ensure their needs and requirements are addressed in the business continuity planProvide training and awareness to all employees on the business continuity plan and their roles and responsibilitiesStay informed of industry best practices and continuously improve the business continuity planRequirements:Experience in developing and managing technology resiliency & recovery plans and testing standards, policies, and process and procedure documentsKnowledge of technology systems application and data protection techniques, system rebuild and data recovery or reconstruction capabilities and testing techniquesDemonstrated ability partnering with and providing expert-level advice to business partners with complex recovery and resiliency requirementsAbility to learn and adapt quicklyHighly organized, ability to simultaneously prioritize tasks and handle numerous time-sensitive issuesIdentifies linkages and thinks "enterprise" across business lines and geographiesEmbraces and drives changesProactively takes a leadership role to ensure team successDrives positive energy across the teamAnalytical/strong attention to detailProficient Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, & Outlook skills7+ years of technology resilience planning and testing or equivalent.Experience in failure analysis and contingency planning and testingDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.Strong strategic mindsetStrong risk mindset with process and controls backgroundActively debate and escalate issues and concernsDemonstrated understanding of internal control discipline and operational excellenceEffective partnering and relationship management skills applying a collaborative mindsetStrong analytical, logical reasoning and problem solving skillsDexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
