Key Responsibilities: Lead month-end and year-end financial close processes across multiple accounting frameworks (US GAAP, Canadian GAAP, IFRS) Develop and execute comprehensive journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage bi-weekly payroll accounting and related accrual entries Coordinate with external auditors and support tax return preparation Conduct detailed tax filings including HST/GST, Sales & Use Tax, and Fuel Tax Perform advanced financial analysis and process improvement initiatives Provide technical accounting support to finance team Qualifications: 2 years progressive accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting Strong technical accounting skills with expertise in one of these areas: Production cost accounting Inventory management Cost of Goods Sold analysis Asset capitalization Revenue recognition principles Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling capabilities ERP systems proficiency (Microsoft GP preferred) CPA certification or active candidacy highly preferred Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills #INFEB2025
