Staff Accountant Location: Denver, COEmployment Type: Full-Time, OnsiteCore Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday Our client is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Staff Accountant to join their collaborative and communicative team. Key Responsibilities Retrieve incoming funding files from the daily folder. Enter funding information into leasing software, with time requirements ranging from 30 minutes to a few hours depending on data volume. Scan invoices and check requests. Add fees to contracts and evaluate escrows for refunds as requested, using prebuilt spreadsheets. Run amortization schedules. Balance gross profit to leasing software, ensuring reconciliation to zero in spreadsheets. Support YE reconciliations Minimum Requirements An Accounting degree is preferred but not required. 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideal for someone with some experience rather than a complete novice. Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, for data entry and manipulation of property tax fees and escrows. Must-Haves Experience balancing gross profit to leasing software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial operations. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Pluses Experience running amortization schedules.
