Accounts Payable (AP) SpecialistLocation: South Bend, IN (Fully Onsite)Salary Range: $52,000 - $62,000 Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our team in South Bend, IN. This fully onsite role requires at least 3 years of AP experience, including expertise in 3-way matching and experience working in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring timely payments to vendors while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. Key Responsibilities: Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Perform 3-way matching (purchase order, invoice, and receiving report) to validate invoices before processing payments. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Ensure all AP transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards. Collaborate with procurement and receiving departments to resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and vendor files. Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting related to AP. Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with suppliers. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports. Continuously seek process improvements to enhance efficiency in the AP function. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience, with strong 3-way matching expertise. Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is required. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, invoice processing, and reconciliation. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Benefits: Competitive salary within the $52,000 - $62,000 range.
