SENIOR ACCOUNTANT About the Company Our client is a looking to hire a Senior Accountant to assist the CFO with daily management of the Accounting function Under the direction of the CFO, the Senior Accountant will have the ability to assume duties typically given to someone at a higher level The CFO believes in a mentoring environment and employees excel under their leadership Responsibilities for Senior Accountant Maintain fixed asset depreciation schedules Assist and ultimately handle month-end closings Assist with year-end and bank audits Prepare adjusting journal entries Prepare bank reconciliations Identify process improvement opportunities Work with company's standard cost system Preferred Qualifications for Senior Accountant 5+ years' experience Supervisory experience a plus Ability to think through complex/new situations The Senior Accountant is fully onsite in Wadsworth OH, with a salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
