What You'll Do: ✠Own the numbers - Analyze and track project costs, budgets, and financial performance to drive profitability.✠Be the bridge - Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost reporting.✠Forecast with confidence - Assist in job cost projections, variance analysis, and financial reporting.✠Sharpen the bottom line - Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.✠Stay compliant - Ensure adherence to GAAP, company policies, and industry regulations.✠Support month-end & year-end close - Reconcile job cost accounts, prepare financial reports, and assist in audits. What You Bring:  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA a plus!) 3+ years of cost accounting experience - ideally in the construction industry. Deep understanding of job costing, WIP reporting, and construction contracts. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Expert in Excel & ERP systems (experience with construction-specific software is a plus). Excellent communication & problem-solving skills - you can break down financial data for non-financial teams.
