Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a locally based client in the search for a new Accounting Manager to join their team. This position will report directly to the CFO and will have four direct reports underneath them. Candidates will need some experience working in a healthcare or physician related organization. The requires several years of experience with overall GL accounting functions, including a strong understanding of the month-end closing process. At least one year of managerial experience is also necessary for this position. This is a hybrid job that will require candidates to be on-site 4 days per week in their Beltsville, MD location. If interested, please don't hesitate to apply with your most up-to-date resumeEssential Job DutiesProvides leadership and direction to the Accounting department staff.Supervises and evaluates the monthly financial close process for all designated areas, ensuring completeness and accuracy.Collaborates with Practice Controllers and Corporate Accountants to gather required data and clarifications.Oversees the compilation of consolidated workpapers on a monthly basis.Examines all internal and external financial management reports to verify accuracy and relevance.Assesses and approves amortization schedules for newly acquired debt.Verifies the correctness of A/P invoice coding.Reviews all outgoing payments to ensure they are appropriate and compliant.Manages the preparation and review of all audit-related workpapers.Conducts variance analysis as needed for the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and detailed Cost Center P&Ls.Guides the preparation of periodic debt compliance documentation and ensures continuous compliance with debt obligations.Leads in-depth research on GAAP-related matters as required.Oversees the execution of monthly debt service payments.Acts as the primary liaison with external auditors, representing the company throughout the audit process.Supervises the preparation of comprehensive accounts receivable analyses.Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.California residents: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.If you would like to complete our voluntary self-identification form, please click here or copy and paste the following link into an open window in your browser: of this form is voluntary and will not affect your opportunity for employment, or the terms or conditions of your employment.
