PrideStaff is currently seeking an experienced Insurance Processor/Receptionist with at least 2 years experience working in the home, auto, business or renters' insurance industry. Start Date: ASAP Hourly Rate: $14 - $16/hr DOE Benefits: After sixty (60) days of full-time employment, agency subsidized medical, dental, vision, life insurance benefits are available in addition to voluntary AFLAC insurance benefits, i.e., cancer, in-hospital, accident, critical illness, etc. Paid Time Off: Forty (40) hours after six (6) months of employment Eighty (80) hours after one (1) full year of employment One-Hundred, Twenty (120) hours after two (2) full years of employment Holiday Pay: 10 Paid Holidays In this position, you will help to provide the best insurance service for all customer needs. With access to over 50 insurance carriers, you can find the right policy for existing & new customers and their families, whether they need auto, home, business, or renters' insurance. This position performs administrative tasks, such as answering phones, receiving visitors, taking customer payments and processing daily work. Prefer 1-2 years minimum experience working in an independent agency or captive/direct writer environment. Daily Tasks Include but Are Not Limited To: Use of AMS 360 Management system Answer phones & direct calls accordingly Check accuracy of new and renewal policies Process initial change requests and create change forms Check endorsements received from the insurance companies Retrieve and process documents from insurance company websites Process and attach mail Claims data input Send out declaration pages & invoices, following up for payments from mortgagees or insureds Send out renewal offers if requested by agent Receipt payments Process inspections Process cancellations Desired Skills: Comfortability with learning new computer software required!
