In this temporary position, the Procurement Specialist is responsible for the processing, tracking, and reporting of software purchases forThe Procurement Specialist will be responsible for:Software purchasingMaintaining and developing vendor relationshipsPricing updates and model managementSoftware subscription renewalsProviding end-users with purchasing assistance and recommendationsEnsuring classified and unclassified software is availableWork to innovate and optimize all purchasing processesEnsure that systems and/or data is ready for audits JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:3+ years' experience in an IT Enterprise environment focusing on software and/or hardware procurement and asset managementCustomer service experience (call center, retail, or other customer facing role)Advanced working knowledge of all MS Office Suite applications (Work, Excel, MS Project, etc.)Excellent organizational and time management skills required. Must be able to multitask and shift focus in a fast-paced environmentAbility to adhere to set SLA's and quotasWorking Knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system This position requires an active Department of Defense security clearance at the Secret level at time of hire or ability to obtain a security clearance. U.S. citizens ONLY are eligible for a security clearance and this position.EDUCATION:Associate's degree in business administration or other related course of study required.
