Accounting Manager - Manufacturing Are you a skilled accounting professional looking for the next step in your career? What You'll Be Doing: Month-End Close & Reconciliations - Oversee and enhance balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy. Cost Accounting & Fixed Assets - Manage general cost accounting functions, including monthly and quarterly reconciliations, while overseeing fixed asset accounting. Manufacturing Accounting Oversight - Provide leadership and ensure alignment with the centralized cost accounting team. Budgeting & Financial Planning - Gradually take on responsibilities in the budgeting process to support financial decision-making. Team Leadership - Manage and mentor a team of three: two Accounting Analysts and a Cost Accountant, fostering growth and efficiency. What We're Looking For: 7-10 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Background can include public accounting, a public/private mix, or all private (manufacturing). Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. CPA preferred but not required. Strong expertise in month-end close, reconciliations, cost accounting, and fixed assets. Proven leadership and mentoring abilities with a track record of team development. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
