This individual will provide crucial support to the existing Senior AR professional, ensuring smooth financial operations and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.Overview of the role: Senior Accountant Accounts Receivable Management - Oversee AR functions, including credit evaluations, collections follow-ups, and customer communications. Reconciliations & Financial Reporting - Perform account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in credits, debits, and full-cycle accounting. Tax & Compliance Support - Collect and verify reseller certificates, assist with tax-related accounting issues, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Audit Assistance - Support day-to-day audit tasks, ensuring all financial records are accurate and readily available for review. Advanced Excel & Data Analysis - Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, reporting, and data management. Collaboration & Communication - Work closely with internal teams to identify and communicate accounting issues, supporting the overall efficiency of financial operations. Preferred Qualifications: Senior Accountant Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions required), ERP systems, and financial software. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with shipping terms (BOLs, etc.), tax accounting, and audit processes.
