Responsibilities of the Benefits Admin: Maintain employee benefit data in systems/portals: enrollments, updates, and terminations. Process and monitor employee deductions, resolve missed deductions, and ensure accurate payroll adjustments. Verify benefit eligibility and exceptions, communicating changes to HR for employee guidance. Handle benefit coverage during leaves, process payments, and manage COBRA notifications and payments. Validate insurance invoices, resolve discrepancies, and create cost allocation spreadsheets. Support annual open enrollment, 1095 form distribution, and 401k compliance audits. Process new hire, rehire, status changes, and terminations, ensuring accurate employee profiles in Great Plains. Preferred Qualifications of the Benefits Admin: Prior HR experience Basic knowledge of FMLA and benefits Excellent time management skills Ability to multitask on a daily basis Strong written and verbal communication skills
