Key Responsibilities: Journal Entries: Prepare and post accurate journal entries in the general ledger for various accounts, ensuring proper classification and compliance with accounting standards. Fixed Assets: Manage and maintain the fixed assets schedule, ensuring timely recording, depreciation, and disposal of assets in accordance with company policies. Financial Statements Preparation: Assist in preparing the balance sheet, income statement, and other financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for internal and external reporting purposes. Monitor Contracts: Oversee and track contracts to ensure proper accounting and adherence to contractual terms, including revenue recognition and cost management. External Audit Preparation: Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and preparing requested financial reports to support audit procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting. Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with [specific software name] is a plus).
