Senior Accountant Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in real estate and property management to join our team. This role will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in property accounting, lease accounting, and financial management within the real estate sector. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general ledger for multiple real estate properties. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes. Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Work closely with property managers, asset managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting. Optimize accounting processes and implement best practices for efficiency. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus. Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in real estate/property management accounting. Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
