Process Operator SC

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating chemical production equipment, monitoring reactions, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards . This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling, batch processing, and equipment operation . The Process Operator will play a crucial role in fabricating and packaging chemical products while adhering to strict safety protocols. Duties Operate and monitor reactors, mix tanks, centrifuges, filters, and separation devices to ensure efficient processing. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance and troubleshoot issues . Weigh, measure, and transfer liquid and solid chemicals according to batch instructions. Package and label finished products while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards . Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch numbers and material usage. Sample and test chemical reactions , adjusting conditions as needed based on laboratory results. Implement lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Handle and process hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely. Follow all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) policies and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Previous experience in a chemical processing, manufacturing, or laboratory environment is preferred. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices , including hazardous material handling. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and warehouse operations . Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Understanding of machining processes is beneficial but not required. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
