Senior Accountant ABOUT THE COMPANY:Our client is a trusted provider of essential services, committed to delivering reliable and sustainable utility solutions to their community. They are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join their accounting team and play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements. Needs to able to come in and pick up quickly Able to have those come to you if they have a question Comfortable with a family oriented office OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE: The Senior Accountant will prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. The Senior Accountant will manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation schedules and capital project accounting. The Senior Accountant will perform monthly account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy. The Senior Accountant will oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including billing cycles and payment processing. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
