USA Sr. Analyst, Market RiskCountry: United States of AmericaUSA Job Family Description: Monitors activities to minimize the company's exposure to risk. Activities may include quantitative analysis, risk identification and remediation. Represents or supports the reputation of the company to minimize compliance and regulatory risk by resolving issues and ensuring adherence to company and legal standards. Responsible for ensuring that all of the company's activities adhere to the necessary rules and regulations, and that the company complies with legal/regulatory statutes and jurisdictions. USA Job Function Description: Ensures adherence to the policies and procedures established by the company. Manages policy, standard definition and monitoring of policy, standard implementation, ensuring harmonization and consistency of risk policies. Monitors and manages risk/exposure and compliance with the company's policies. Identifies, manages and reports on the company's risk areas. Evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of data, document retention, and monitors systems. Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements: Works on production and report to senior management, FO, Auditor and Financial Risk at corporate and local level about the risk metrics on daily basis through processing and analyzing the information of the trading activities and positions in the risks system. Monitor the information obtained from corporate risk system on daily basis through updating the corresponding Excel macros and validating the information in order to ensure the quality of the data generated by the system. Upload the metrics in the Golden Soruces for Financial Risk at corporate level to generate the reports and to provide support to the Auditors Generate reports regarding other metrics and monitor through the market risk reports to detect limit market risk violations generated by the trading desk. This serves as a base for the decision-making process for senior management, Auditor and Financial Risk at corporate and local level Keep track of the Sign Off of the metrics Results from the risk systems by recording the events of not agreement, in the Operational Risk dashboard in order to inform the areas involved and follow up. Keep track of the incidents occurred in the risk systems by recording the events in the institutional system (Remedy) in order to inform the areas involved and follow up. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business, Finance, Management, or equivalent field. Req Work Experience: 3+ Years Risk Management/Controls Req Skills and Abilities: Advanced understanding of key inherent risk and market risk management control practices to perform periodic analysis with critical reasoning for high management reporting. Demonstrated practical and theoretical knowledge of market risk principles, concepts and policies. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Outlook) skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build and foster internal relationships. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to analyze risk and provide recommendations and/or resolutions to minimize risk. Ability to summarize, document, and communicate information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to interpret, analyze and apply data/information. Ability to stay abreast of industry best practices, procedures, and techniques. Ability to change direction as project demand dictates. Ability to effectively and clearly communicate instructions to others, summarize and articulate issues, and document findings in a clear and concise manner.
