This role is responsible for building the long-term strategy, medium-term business planning, and short-term operational plans across the product/portfolio roadmap and GTM motions, while maintaining a customer-first mindset. You will inform the strategic choices by conducting in-depth analyses, forming robust recommendations, and collaborating with cross-functional executives to refine and align strategies with organizational goals. Responsibilities Analyze 1st and 3rd party data to objectively assess state of the business, gaming industry trends (competitive landscape, technological trends/innovations), and future risks/opportunities Develop robust business models and forecasts on where to play and how to win over 1 - 5 year horizons with de-risked operational plans that drive alignment and accountability Create data-driven recommendations to optimize business performance short-term, including Gaming's diverse platforms, products, and incubations. Provide thought leadership to executive leadership teams, functional leaders, and strategy colleagues with top-tier written, verbal, and visual presentations. Expand the knowledge base within Gaming business unit with new methods of strategic analysis and actively contribute to team skills development Consult on a wide range of Personal System strategy topics, including growth opportunities, value chain differentiation, risk management, and profit optimization. Education & Experience Recommended MBA or demonstrable equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. At least 8-10 years of work experience, preferably 3-4 in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic planning AND 2 years working in product management. Top-tier consulting experience highly desirable Experience in the Gaming Industry Knowledge and Skills: Excellent data analysis and research capabilities, including extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, statistical analysis, and financial modeling Strong strategic skills, including transformation and change management, impact analysis, and long-term planning/white paper authoring Top-tier communication and relationship management skills, including presenting to, partnering with, and building consensus across all levels including senior executives Strong Product Management including customer insights, concept testing, product profitability forecasting and analysis, and portfolio management Experience in the Hardware and Gaming industries, including consumer electronics, software, XaaS, and/or managed services offerings The typical base pay range for this role in Houston is USD $136,850 - $210,750 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations within the Palo Alto area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $149,900 - $230,850 per year.
