Fulfillment Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:The Fulfillment Supervisor oversees the order fulfillment process, ensuring orders are accurately and efficiently processed, procured, inventoried, picked, packed, and shipped, while also managing and training the fulfillment team. This supervisor will have a deep understanding of the product line(s), parts, and manufacturing processesESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESLeads the fulfillment team in inventory management and the pick-pack-ship operations for 100% complete and on-time deliveries in a Safety-First cultureSuccessfully partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service as needed to drive results for the end customProactively communicate order management and fulfillment through appropriate channelCoordinates and communicates with Purchasing on material demand and scheduleMaintains inventory list of stock parts to achieve high levPlans and schedules all logistics and transportation for efficient and cost-effective executionAssists Purchasing in supplier meetings, negotiations, and performance monitoringInvestigates and recommends fulfillment process improvements utilizing available data and analyticManages department KPI's to drive efficiency gaiReview business processes for opportunities to streamline and make improvementTrack and manage department labor cosIdentify and develop leaders within the departmentSKILLS & KNOWLEDGE3-5 years' experience in a similar role (Supply Chain, Logistics, Shipping, Fulfillment, Warehousing, Operations, etc. Experience within the marine industry prePrior Leadership Experience Strong communication and leadershipStrong attention to detail, focus on customer serviceProficient in Microsoft OfficeCan-do attitude Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of technical documentation, how to read them and identify critical characteristics (or ability tolearn)Thrives in a fast-paced environment Maintains High Sense of Urgency and Ownership Ability to remain organized and stay focused while balancing numerous competing priorProven ability to collaborate across multiple departments to achieveTeam player with a willingness to learn and take direction
