Our Hospitality Manager oversees all aspects of the visitor experience, including staffing, operations, events, and ensuring a positive and engaging environment for guests, while also managing budgets and adhering to regulations. This position is within commuting distance of Lexington and Louisville.Essential Duties:Daily Operations:Oversee the smooth and efficient daily operations of the fast-paced Hospitality Center, including staffing, inventory, facilities, and safety.Staff Management:Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate Hospitality Center staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable, friendly, and provide excellent customer service.Event Management:Plan, coordinate, and execute events and tours at the Hospitality Center, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for guests.Budget Management:Manage the Hospitality Center budget, including retail sales, inventory, and expenses.Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations as well as responsible and sustainable practices.Communication:Communicate with leadership regarding operational issues, safety concerns, and staffing needs.Inventory Management:Ensure proper utilization, space organization, and safety of onsite storage facilities.Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.Brand Representation:Represent the organization's brand and values in all interactions with visitors.Feedback and Improvement:Gather feedback from guests and use it to continuously improve the visitor experience.Create a Welcoming Environment:Ensure the Hospitality Center is clean, well-maintained, and creates a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.Skills and Qualifications:Education: Associate's degree requiredLeadership and Management: Five years' experience directly coaching and developing staff in a hospitality setting such as restaurants, resorts, large-scale country clubs, and large event management.Schedule: Typical hours will be Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:00p. Ability to work one weekend/month.Customer Service: Excellent customer service and communication skills. High volume public interaction required.
