Barista

A barista's (aka Baristameister's) job includes preparing and serving drinks, interacting with customers, and maintaining a clean work area:Customer service: Greet customers, answer questions, and create a fun experienceDrink preparation: Make coffee, espresso, tea, and other drinks, and customize orders to customer preferencesCash handling: Take orders, process payments, and operate cash registersCleanliness: Keep the work area, equipment, and seating areas clean and sanitizedStocking: Ensure the customer service area has supplies, and stock merchandiseFood service: Serve food like baked goods, sandwiches, and saladsHealth and safety: Follow health and safety guidelines, and report equipment maintenance needsEducation: Educate customers about the coffee menuBaking: Simple baking tasksSocial Media: engage on our social media platformsInventory: Inventory, order, or receive productsTemperature: Check the temperature of freezers, refrigerators, and heatingOur Baristameisters often work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Baristameisters should be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for more than four hours.QualificationsPrior Barista experience, longevity of service to us as a team member (at least 1 year), customer service experience, patience, tenacity, and good WORK ETHIC.
