This role will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency across manufacturing operations, while continuously driving improvements in production planning, supplier management, and operational excellenceKey Responsibilities:Manufacturing Operations & Production ManagementMonitor and manage all Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics for manufacturing.Ensure production targets are met while maintaining efficiency, quality, and cost controls.Oversee data collection and analysis (yields, output, defect rates) to drive process improvements.Lead continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN, Six Sigma, and 5S principlesTeam Leadership & Workforce ManagementMaintain appropriate staffing levels to meet production demands while balancing labor costs.Ensure effective hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for manufacturing personnel.Develop a positive team culture, fostering mutual trust and respect with associates.Process Optimization & Equipment MaintenanceOversee calibration, preventative maintenance, and repairs to maintain uptime and efficiency.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and production outputProduction Planning & Supply Chain CoordinationDevelop production planning strategies to align with commercial demand forecastsMaintain inventory levels of critical supplies, spare parts, and raw materialsWork cross-functionally to ensure an efficient, uninterrupted supply of materialsWork with procurement to manage supplier relationships to optimize cost and delivery performance.Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or equivalent training. 2+ years in leadership & management roles, preferably managing non-exempt staff. ? Experience operating within a Quality Management System (QMS) such as ISO 13485 or FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ensuring compliance with medical device manufacturing standards ? Experience with LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or similar best practices ? Strong experience in production planning & scheduling optimization ?
