Associate - Restructuring

Our client is a global law firm and has been practicing for over 100 years. They seek a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year associate to join its Restructuring Team in NYC. (Working hybrid out of their mid-town NYC location).They have an international reputation and an emphasis on the representation of clients before governmental agencies, successful advocacy in litigation and arbitration, and creative and practical advice in structuring business transactions.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Drafting of all types of corporate and reorganization documents, including disclosure statements and plans of reorganizationConducting complex research and drafting analysis of factual and legal issuesDrafting agreements and corporate documentsConducting due diligenceCommunication with clientsAssisting clients with corporate governanceAnalyzing complex capital structures and financial issuesPreparing and participating in witness interviews, depositions, & court hearingsDevelop business strategies and client pitches.MAIN REQUIREMENTS: 1-3 years of experience representing banks and others on Structured Finance transactions,New York Bar membership is required.Prior experience working for an AmLaw 100 firmAttended top Law SchoolWork closely with partners and senior associates. The associates interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.Excellent academic credentials, (top law schools), strong communication and client service skills, as well as, the ability to multi-task and manage time to meet deadlines and complete projects.New York Bar membership is required.The expected pay range for this position is: $275,000-$415,000 (DOE) plus solid benefits
