Aquaspersions is a leading manufacturer and global supplier of high-quality water-based dispersions and emulsions. For over 50 years we have been providing manufacturers and formulators globally with our leading range of dispersions.To support our strategies for growth and increasing customer base within the US market, we are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as Plant Manager for our new production facility in Broussard, LA. Reporting to the Group Production Director, you will further develop and oversee our plant and all plant operations, deliver customer satisfaction and play a key role in the continued growth of our local market.What You'll DoLeadershipProvide hands-on leadership as a working manager, responsible for mentoring and coaching all employees.Manage the work of the production employees to oversee production and shipping schedules based on availability of raw and finished goods.Hiring, training, and supervising personnel, including assigning tasks and performance evaluations.Manage plant administration including demand planning function to ensure compliance to established policies.Plant efficiency and performanceConsult with the Group Production Director for the cost and yield performance of the Plant.Deliver best operational practices and cost efficiencies across the Plant while maintaining critical quality and raw material utilization standards that are necessary to maintain customer satisfaction and Plant profitability.Continually review operations activities, including local transportation activities to maintain compliance with all Federal, State and local laws (OSHA, EPA, FD).Implement and manage Lean opportunities to effectively eliminate waste.Drive efficiencies in asset utilization through proper transportation scheduling, dispatch, & driver management while meeting customer expectations.ComplianceEnsure consistent execution of all SOPs throughout the plant.Drive Safety improvements across the Plant.Ensure ISO quality standards are met working closely with QC Manager.Manages maintenance of the site, including buildings.Manages the selection and (preventative) maintenance of equipmentManages budgets for repairs and renewals, and contractorsWork ExperienceWhat You Need3+ years of experience in a supervisory role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.Experience in working and excelling OSHA standardsStrong leadership skills and experience managing teams.An excellent communicatorHas good attention to detail with excellent analytical and organization skillsIs self-motivated and shows initiativeIs an excellent problem solver.Has good attention to detail.Familiarity with fleet management, transportation, distribution and logistics is preferred.Experience managing safety performance and programs.BenefitsWhat We OfferHoliday PayVacation PayPaid Time OffMedical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life, AD&D, and Short-Term & Long-Term Disability insurance for Eligible Full Time Employees401(k) Retirement Plan
