Mechanical Drafter

Position TitleMechanical Drafter Responsibilities and Duties: Create and modify 3D CAD models based on engineering concepts and specificationsDevelop detailed technical drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and material specificationsDesign mechanical assemblies and ensure proper fit and function of componentsProduce schematics, diagrams, and other visual documentation to support manufacturingParticipate in design reviews and collaborate with engineers to refine designsMaintain organized digital files of all drawings and modelsSupport revision control and documentation processesQualifications and Skills:Required:Associate's degree in mechanical drafting, engineering technology, or related field10+ years of experience with parametric CAD software, including 5+ years with Solidworks. Experience with PDM/PLM systems10+ years of experience in mechanical draftingWorking knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5)Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material propertiesAbility to read and interpret engineering specificationsStrong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teamsPreferred Skills:Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ISO, etc.)Experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with product developmentFamiliarity with vacuum technologyJob Details:Locations: Everett, WAContract: 6 monthsPay Rate Range: $54-75/hr
