Dental Lab Technical Communications AdvisorPosition can be located in Mt Vernon, NY or Rocky Hill, CTAn industry leader in the dental lab industry is seeking an experienced crown and bridge dental lab technician to join their team in a customer service role as an Implant Technical Communications Advisor. This is a full-time/direct position with benefits. Description:Join a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunityfor an Implant Technical Communications Advisor (supporting Universities, Government, and Institutions) that can be located in Mt Vernon, NY or Rocky Hill, CT. Must have All on four Dental and Crown and Bridge as a Dental Lab Technician experience to apply. The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position: Facilitate assigned UGI technical callsMake proactive calls to follow up on completed cases as neededComplete an "administrative quality inspection" on cases, including checking items on the work ticket, prescription, billing accuracy, and adding personal notes where appropriate.Provide special attention to new accounts and accounts that are experiencing concernsBuild solid relationships with staff members in UGI offices, including participation in local, regional and state dental staff organizations.Follow up on all customer issues to be sure the issues identified are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.Keep team and General manager and Sales Team aware of quality trends. Develop a plan to improve quality.Facilitate all technical case consultation with clientshelp with complex cases, material selection, and digital workflowsTechnical advisor for complex cases including implants. Hybrid knowledge a plusCompletely solve and analyze issues and problems requiring investigation and research in a timely manner that relate to remakes, services failures and relationship maintenance. Report progress and concerns in a timely manner and communicate to appropriate individuals.Travel 25% of the time.All other duties as assigned.Skills and Abilities Required:Must have computer skills including typing and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.Verbally communicate via telephone-maintaining a positive demeanorVerbally communicate with all levels of staff-maintaining a positive demeanorTakes initiativeExcellent listening skillsAttention to detailMinimum Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or GED equivalentRequired: 3 years of dental lab experience or dental assisting experienceRequired: Implant knowledge and experienceMinimum 12 months experience of direct dental customer service experience on technical related issuesRequired: Clean driving recordRequired: Travel 25%PC literacy required: MS Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
