Supply Planner

Job Title: Supply Planner IISchedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST/EST (Some flexibility)Job Summary:We are seeking a Supply Planner II to support our supply chain operations by developing and executing supply planning strategies. This role involves monitoring key business performance indicators, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in supply planning, and expertise in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, and formulas). Experience with SAP is preferred.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement cycle stock and safety stock plans based on approved supply inputs.Monitor and address inventory shortages, developing gap coverage strategies to ensure supply continuity.Analyze and optimize inventory levels to meet business and customer demands.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.Provide insights and recommendations for procurement decisions and supply chain improvements.Utilize Excel and SAP to generate reports, analyze data, and improve supply planning processes.Identify and resolve moderately complex supply chain issues independently while escalating critical matters as needed.Support import trade flow operations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or procurement.Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, Formulas).Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with SAPBackground in supply and inventory planning within a manufacturing or logistics environment.Knowledge of import trade flows and international supply chain processes.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisionsAbility to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
