Job Description:The Associate will be tasked with providing support to senior transaction professionals in evaluating, underwriting, and executing new investment opportunities in the digital infrastructure sector, predominantly data center real estate. A successful candidate will have exceptional real estate financial modeling skills, the ability to communicate and build relationships across geographies, an analytical mindset, and be able to contribute to multiple workstreams simultaneously with limited supervision. The firm was recently founded by four data center industry pioneers, a dynamic which requires flexibility, accountability and professionalism to succeed.Responsibilities:Perform initial review of investment opportunities and discuss relevant factors with deal leads and the firm's partnersProvide analytical support on data center acquisitions and development projects including equity and debt structuring, returns analysis, and promote calculationAssist senior management in preparing investment committee memosAssist with due diligence efforts and activitiesAssist in the preparation of company valuations and financial modelsCreate and maintain industry-specific business development presentationsConduct industry and company-specific researchQualifications:The candidate should possess the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree required, with a concentration in accounting/finance preferred2-4 years of relevant work experience, specifically underwriting, requiredExperience working in real estate private equity, capital markets brokerage and/or investment banking preferredExceptional financial modeling skills requiredAdvanced Argus Enterprise skills preferredHighly analytical with an ability to problem solve independentlyStrong interest in the digital infrastructure space; prior exposure to the data center or digital infrastructure sectors preferred but not requiredProficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint and Adobe AcrobatOutstanding written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal attributesAbility to work as part of a dispersed team across US geographiesInitiative, integrity, and creativity with an intense focus on detail and a commitment to excellence
