JOB SUMMARYMonday-Friday 8am-5pmThis Production Management position is responsible for Overseeing and Directing Technical functions and associated value added projects. Recruiting responsibilities include pre-screening and interviewing technical talent and mentoring their growth and development. Production responsibilities include ensuring overall attainment of quality production levels and monetary production quotas as set by the company. In addition, this manager will maximize the use of all technical resources and utilize the best production practices to achieve all of these quotas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupervision of the Repair Production SupervisorsOversee and ensure proper and efficient staffing of resources in all areas of responsibility; ensure overlap; cross training across functional areas where practical and appropriateAnalyze all standing production flow. Implement improvements that result in increased efficiencyCollaborate with our Senior Engineering Manager on expansion projects related to increased capabilitiesInsure that appropriate assets are used for testing of productPerform quarterly and year end reviewsMay be modified from time to time; Other duties, tasks and work may be assignedKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED Strong computer proficiency especially in systems and functions used to manage and track repair processes at Radwell - Microsoft Dynamics sales order, "Reman" systems, Internal "Spectrum" tracking and receiving, and other systems and information tools used in these processesKnowledge of production concepts in a light manufacturing service environmentKnowledge of and ability to create and improve internal processes; ability to tie system/human processes together in areas of responsibilityKnowledge of and understanding of the unique nature and flow of all responsible processes, especially those in use at Radwell and knowledge and understanding of Radwell's uniqueness and special characteristics related to these processesAbility to work at fast paceAttention to detailProblem solving abilitiesGood communication skillsAbility to manage and deal with personnel issues related to the workforce that reports up through this positionAbility to troubleshoot automated systems and processes as they relate to functional responsibilitiesEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree or extensive equivalent experience with appropriate business concentration in production management, operations, and related disciplinesOne to three years in a related environment with direct experience managing same or similar processesTechnical or Industrial product knowledge a plusExperience managing/supervising a diverse staff of managers and employees; ability to interface with upper managementPHYSICAL DEMANDSThis is a combination office/shop floor management job, but one that may requires hands on work. The physical demands of the office or managerial component entails the physical demands associated with operating a telephone and computer (viewing monitor, keyboard, and mouse). The hands on components entail occasional lifting or physical demands associated with production and related processes.
