Freelance Packaging Designer -Beauty & Fragrance

We are looking for a Freelance Beauty Packaging & Product Designer for a global beauty, fragrance and body care brand. The Designer is responsible for creating commercially viable product designs for fragrance, body, lip and skincare categories.Responsibilities: Conceptualize and develop innovative designs that maintain brand consistencyEnsure all concepts and innovative design ideas are cutting edge and maintain brand consistencyWork with the category teams responding to artwork briefsLiaise with cross-functional teams to create various designs, concepts and graphics (advertising, packaging, merchandising, collateral, digital)Provide creative input for photo shoots, digital assets, social media campaigns and PRStrong eye for color, color matching and occasional press checksPartner with marketing in overseeing creative output concept through productionRequired Qualifications:In depth knowledge of Graphic designStrong production skillsAbility to generate innovative packaging concepts/designsAttention to detailKnowledge of industry trends on emerging creative technologies and applicationsUnderstanding of brand image and visionSuperior Adobe Suite SkillsSuperior production skillsModern aesthetic5-7 years of related business experienceConsumer package goods or beauty industry experience is preferredExpert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and a strong understanding of the packaging production processCollaborative leadership skillsPrioritization & Organization SkillsStrong Interpersonal Skills (written and oral)Self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple projectsMust be able to work well independently or within a teamStrong interest in the beauty business / sensitivity to métierMust be professional and energetic with a positive attitudeIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
