Autoneum is the Global Market Leader in Acoustics and Thermal Management. The Company is a leading Swiss supplier in sustainable acoustic and thermal management solutions for vehicles. It develops and manufactures multifunctional, lightweight components for optimum noise and heat protection. The Company is organized into four business groups by region: Business Group Europe, Business Group North America, Business Group Asia, and Business Group SAMEA (South America, Middle East and Africa). This position will be a full-time onsite position located in our manufacturing facility in Duncan, South Carolina.The Human Resources Generalist works in conjunction with the Manager of Human Resources to provide support to plant operations. Must be well organized and detail oriented, have a high energy level, and effectively build relationships with team members across all functions.Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. Professionalism and confidentiality are crucial in this role in order to protect the organization's reputation. This position requires some supervisionEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide Leadership, discipline, and support to ensure the highest level of safety, housekeeping (5S), and professionalism in the HR departmentFull cycle recruitment for hourly and salary staffAssists in administration of company benefit plans and programAssists with managing paperwork and required communication with employees on Leaves of -Absence, including leaves covered by the Family and Medical Leave Act and those eligible for Short Term Disability coverageKeeps record of Personnel Transactions, such as New Hires, Promotions, Transfers, Performance Reviews and TerminationsResponsible for maintaining HR related reports and overseeing other reports (monthly, 30,60,90-day evaluations, training matrix, hourly staffing matrix, etc.Maintains hourly employee data in Human Resources Information System (ADP)Responsible for Job Posting System (posting, scheduling interviews, tracking, staffing matrix pay changes, etc.Conduct and/or oversee New Hire Orientation and related documents and presentationAdministers Attendance, discipline and PTO/vacation for hourly Team MemberEnsure compliance with all related TS-16949 and ISO-14001 policies and procedures Education / ExperienceBachelor's degree (B. A.) in Human Resources Management or related field from four-year College or University or equivalent experienceMust have basic understanding of Federal and State employment laExcellent verbal and written communication skills
